Achievements:
My name is Tatyana Maurer, and I'm about to turn 70. I'm an amauter artist, a volunteer at the Manchester Art Gallery, and the organiser of of the art group "Paintings and its masterpieces". Also belongs to to the online book club "The literature Communityof Book Lovers ans Intellectuals". I believe life is full of creative possibilities- if we keep dreaming, learning and seeking new experiences. Everything is ACHIEVABLE! I began painting 4 years ago during lockdown. With leftover house paints, my fingers, and printing paper, I created my first artworks. Inspired, I formed an online art group, learning from YouTube tutorials. Now I have proper suppliers: acrylics, brushes, canvases, easels and a lots of more.
In 2023, I held my first solo exhibition at the Didsbury Parsonage Trust Art Gallery. In 2025, organised a group show there, featuring artists from Latvia, Ukraine, Pakistan and Russia. The gallery prised our work, and this journey continues to inspired me.
I believe creativity, love and self-expression make life fulfilling.
