“The Old Church”

This work is made from birch bark, which I only take from fallen trees, those that have already completed their earthly journey. And I give them a new life — through art.
The main idea of ​​this painting, entitled “The Old Church,” is simple and at the same time profound. The church stands firmly on the ground, but its domes are directed towards the sky — to where there is always a connection with God. So too with man: he lives on Earth, but his soul never loses that light.
When I look at my work, I feel gratitude, I feel love and admiration for how a new life, a new world, is born from simple pieces of birch bark! My creativity is a search for harmony between nature and man. I believe that art is capable of changing space, filling it with warmth and love!
